In case you were wondering, the blog's name comes from scripture, specifically Philippians 1:6, which says "...being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
This is my space to process and document the journey of being "carried on to completion" in my very ordinary life as mother, wife, believer, and friend;
This is a space of wondering and walking;
of journeying and rejoicing;
of wrestling and reconciling.
And I'm sure it will not take you long to discover that I am passionate about the heart of God, which I believe is for the lonely, the lost, the least of these.
So, this spiritual journey for me is really about knowing God more, and learning to love those God loves.
Sometimes that means loving the tantruming 2 year old in my own home;
Sometimes it means giving sacrificially so my neighbor in Uganda has a meal to eat.
While I am very much still learning what it does, in fact, mean for His will to be done "on earth as it is in Heaven", certainly, it does not mean I do nothing.
As I wrestle and fail and grow and learn, I take hope in Philippians 1:6 - I am not finished yet.
